In 2023 we founded Studio saak and since then we have been a duo not only privately but also professionally. Together we design and manufacture products and objects and make them by hand with attention to detail. Selected workshops in Detmold and the surrounding area help us with some products. High quality is a matter of course for us, because this is the only way we can ensure longevity and meet our sustainability standards.

We want our work to touch the senses of the user - it is important to us that our results are characterized by a lively aesthetic. They are puristic and consistent. A clear design language and natural materials are very important to us in the design.

Marie Saßmannshausen, 25 years old, successfully completed her bachelor's degree in interior design in 2023 and is currently completing her master's degree at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences.

Since 2022, Marie has been working intensively with clay and the infinite world of ceramics. Marie combines a very poetic-emotional side with craftsmanship and her love of form, color and graphics.

Max Kappel, 26 years old, discovered his passion for product design through carpentry. After further training as a designer (HWK), he has been working as a product designer and developer ever since.

Thanks to his technical training, he can independently implement his creative ideas with solution-oriented sophistication.
